  BENJAMIN S. BRUBACHER Mr. Benjamin B. (Ben) Brubacher age 82 died on Tuesday, Feb. 20 at the home of his daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ezra H. Frey, Hawkesville after a short illness. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Brubacher and was born in Wellesley, township, Aug. 9, 1879. He farmed near Elmira until he retired in 1956. His wife the former Anna Diefenbecker, predeceased him Nov. 7, 1957. He was a member of the Elmira Mennonite Church. Surviving are four daughters: Mrs. Noah (Emma) Martin RR 1, Wallenstein, Mrs. Ezra H. (Ada) Frey HawkesvIlle, Mrs. John M. (Melissa) Martin of Hawkesville, Mrs. Samuel G. (Viola) Martin, RR 1, Fordwich. 30 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, one brother Henry S. Brubacher of Floradale, one sister Mrs. Christian B. Frey, ER 1, Wallenstein. Remains at the D. F.P, until Saturday at 11 a.m. when removal will be made to the Elmira Mennonite Church for service at 2 p.m. Burial will take place in the St. Jacobs Mennonite Cemetery. Rev. Howard Bauman will officiate. The casket will be open In the Church until service time. Elmira Signet 21 Feb 1962 pg 4
