  Waterloo Region Record - Dec. 30, 2008 STINSON, Robert Gerald (Buck) - Passed away peacefully on Friday, December 26, 2008 at University Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Ruth (Zvaniga) Stinson. Dear father of Colleen DeZorzi and Maureen Stinson. Cherished step-father to Jack Spencer, Jim Spencer and Linda Graham. Loving Grandpa to 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Dear brother to Ross Stinson (Rose) of Barrie, Diane (Mike) Sheridan of Barrie, Dennis Hanna (JoAnn) of Hillsdale. Also remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by one sister, Jean Delaney. Buck was born in Barrie on May 31, 1927. He served with 2RCR in Korea and was stationed at Wolseley Barracks in London. Member of the Royal Canadian Legion Victory Branch. Cremation has taken place in accordance with Buck's wishes. Interment will be made privately in the New Hope Cemetery, Cambridge, Ontario at a later date. Forest City Cremation Services entrusted with arrangements. In lieu of flowers the family would greatly appreciate donations to the Royal Canadian Regiment Museum at Wolseley Barracks.
