  CUMMING, REGINALD CHARLES was born at Troy, Ontario, a son of Charles Cumming. He came to Galt as a child and received his education there. He graduated from the medical Faculty of the University of Toronto in 1906, following which he took postgraduate work in Hngland. In 1908 he obtained the degrees of Member of the Royal College of Surgeons, and Licentiate of the Royal College of Physicians. On his return to Canadia he settled in Galt and carried on a practice there for 38 years. He was regarded as one of the best known physicians of Galt, and despite a busy practice, found time for curling and golf, at both of which he was outstanding. He died suddenly of a pulmonary embolus after a short illness on October 9, 1945. He was survived by his widow, a daughter and a son. He was predeceased by a son who was lost in the R. C. A.
