  Harriet Eby, "was born October 10th, 1846. She was married to Isaac B. Burkholder who died some years ago. She now resides in Port Huron, Michigan, and has a family of four children, of whom one is dead." Eby, Ezra E. (1895). Berlin [Kitchener, Ont.]: [s.n.]. _______________ Mrs. Harriet Burkholder Mrs. Harriet L Burkholder aged 74 found dead on her bed. Thursday afternoon when her daughter went to call her for supper, For a number of years she made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Alice Barkley, of [ ] Griswold street. Death was due to heart failure. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the late home. Burial will be in Lakeside cemetery. Surviving besides the one daughter are two son; Daniel Burkholder, of Gregory, S. D.; and Alfred Burkholder, of Sioux Falls, S. D. Mrs. Burkholder had long been suffering with a heart affliction but her condition had not been considered dangerous at any time. The Times Herald [Port Huron, Michigan] 28 May 1920
