  Mrs. Mary Ann Eby One of Kitchener's oldest residents died on Monday night at her home, in the person of Mrs. Mary Ann Eby, relict of the late Herman Eby, in her 81st year. Mrs. Eby, who was born in New Hamburg, was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Heiseman. She was married in 1870 and the following year went to Kitchener, where she has since resided. Her husband predeceased her 20 years ago. Deceased is survived by one son, Allan, well known in Kitchener, and for years a newspaper man, and three daughters, Miss Adelaide, Kitchener, and Mrs. E. D. Gordon and Mrs. J. W. Foster, of Oakland, Cal. Five sisters also survive. New Hamburg Independent, March 21, 1930
