At Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Friday, Nov. 5, 1999, in his 90th year. Loving husband of Helen "Nellie" Cooper. Beloved father of John Cooper and his wife Anne of Cambridge and Helen McInnis and her husband Don of Sheffield. Survived by his grandchildren, Robert and Leslie Cooper and Andrew and Mark McInnis; his brothers. Don Cooper of Guelph and Alex Cooper of Kincardine; his sister-in-law, Catherine (Bowie) Hilton; nieces, Jane Cooper and Kathy Thomas and her husband Tony and nephew, Bill Cooper and his wife Heather. Predeceased by sisters-in-law, Florence Cooper and Minnie Cooper; brother, Ted Cooper and brother-in-law, Charlie Bowie. Herman retired from Canada Manpower in 1975. He served overseas during the Second World War, with the Highland Light Infantry of Canada and was very active with the War Amps Association of Canada. Resting at the Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St. Cambridge, where the family will receive friends on Sunday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel, on Monday, Nov. 8, 1999, at 1 p.m. Interment Mount View Cemetery.
