  CRESSMAN, Mabel (1919-2008) - Passed away on Friday, October 17, 2008, at Parkwood Mennonite Home, Waterloo, at the age of 88 years. Dear sister of Eloise Cressman of New Hamburg, and Erma Snyder of Cambridge, Willard (Beulah) Cressman of New Hamburg and sister-in-law, Lois Cressman of Waterloo. Mabel is lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Addis and Elizabeth Cressman; one brother, Harold Cressman; two brothers-in-law, Zenas Cressman and Orlan Snyder; and special friend, Karl Krueger. Miss Cressman was born in New Hamburg and had been a lifelong resident of the area. She was a member of Nith Valley Mennonite Church, and had been employed as a RNA at Cambridge Memorial Hospital for many years. Mabel was known for her music and crocheting, she also was an avid reader. The family wish to thank all the staff at Parkwood Mennonite Home for their kindness, love and support shown to Mabel in the last years of her life. The family will receive friends at the Nith Valley Mennonite Church, Walker Road, New Hamburg on Monday October 20, 2008 from 3 p.m. until Service time at 4 p.m. with Pastors Matthew and Hendrike Bender officiating.
