    • BROHMAN, Willard Passed away peacefully on Friday, September 5, 2014 at Sunnyside Home, at the age of 92. Beloved husband of Betty for 64 years. Loving father to Lynn Schaman, Wayne (Lynn), Cheryl Bretz (Robert) and Bob (Chris). Proud grandpa to nine grandchildren and four great- grandchildren. Brother to Doris Barton, Kathleen Brohman and Muriel Sandrock. Willard will also be missed by Dr. John Schaman and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his siblings Tom, Cyril and Rosemary. He proudly served in the Canadian infantry as a translator during WWII. Beginning in the early 50's, Willard, along with his two brothers, owned and proudly operated the Breslau Hotel until his retirement. He was highly respected and known to all as an outstanding business man who knew the value of hard work. He is remembered by his employees as kind, humble and supportive. He enjoyed many years as a member of Conestoga Country Club with Betty by his side. Willard was a long time member of St. Boniface R.C. Church, Maryhill. The family wishes to thank the Three Bridges wing of Sunnyside Home for their excellent care and compassion. Willard's family will receive relatives and friends from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m., with parish prayers at 3 p.m. on Monday, September 8, 2014 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A Funeral Liturgy will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Fr. Ronald Voisin officiating. Reception to follow. Private family interment in St. Boniface Cemetery, Maryhill at a later date.
