  Mrs. Magdalena Eby Mrs. Magdalena Eby of Preston, widow of the late Andrew Eby passed away on Saturday at St. Mary's Hospital, in her 76th year. She was the mother of Oscar Eby of Kitchener, former registrar. She was born on what is now known as the Woods farm on the Breslau road and lived in Preston for 50 years. She was a member of St. Clement's Church, Preston, and of the Altar Society. She is survived by two sons, Oscar of Kitchener and Herbert A. Eby of Washington, D.C., and by two grandchildren, Miss Norma Eby of Kitchener and Dr. Herbret 0. Eby of Washington, D.C. Her husband, a former Preston assessor and tax collector, died 14 years ago. The funeral was held on Tuesday morning at St. Clement's Church with entombment in the Woodland Mausoleum at Kitchener. Waterloo Chronicle 1 Oct 1936 pg 6
