  Horst, Joseph A. Passed away peacefully on Sunday January 3, 2016 at Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton. Joe resided in Milverton and was born 79 years ago in Mornington Township. He was the son of the late Elam & Lydia (Albrecht) Horst. Beloved husband of Ada (Martin) Horst with whom he celebrated 56 years of marriage. Loving father of Mark & Lena Horst of Ethel, Martha & Raymond Frey of Belle Vallee, Bill & Angie Horst of Millbank, Jim & Rhoda Horst of Trowbridge, Ruth & Bruce Shoemaker of Arthur, Paul & Cheryl Horst of Elmira, Elsie & Fred Metzger of Hesson. Sadly missed by 29 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Salome Habegger, Mahlon & Bev Horst, Samuel & Susan Horst, William & Ingrid Horst, Rueben & Kathleen Horst, Henry & Julia Horst, Ivan & Ruthann Horst, Nelson Horst, John & Martha Horst, Clayton & Erma Horst, Ervin Bowman, Annie Martin, Christian & Salome Martin, Elvina & Orvie Wideman. Joe was predeceased by a grandson Andrew Frey, brother Allan & Emma Horst, sisters-in-law Eva Horst, Magdalena Bowman, Hannah & Edwin Martin, Sarah Martin, brothers-in-law Edward Habegger, Sydney Martin, Ervin Martin, Leander & Maryann Martin, Melvin Brubacher. Joe was a member of Fair Haven Mennonite Church, R.R. # 1 Newton. Family and friends will be received at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 7 Spencer Street, Milverton on Tuesday January 5, 2016 from 7-9 p.m. and again Wednesday from 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A family service will be held on Thursday January 7, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home, and transfer will follow to Fair Haven Church and cemetery for the interment and the funeral service.
