Notes - GRANT, Doris "Dorie" (nee Kramer) Passed away peacefully following a brief illness at St. Mary's Hospital on Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late William "Bill" Grant. Proud mother of Mike and his wife Elaine, and Jim and his wife Nan. Loving grandmother of Robert (Lori), Devin, Barry, Jeremy (Aimee), Lyndsay (Mike) and great-grandmother of Andrew, George and Parker. Dear sister of Lorne (Audrey), Jean (Ron) and the late Ron. Survived by sister-in-law Julie. Dorie's family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 from 12 noon on Saturday, March 8, 2014 until the time of the Memorial Service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Kitchener-Waterloo Humane Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
