  Frederick L. Slee GALT - Frederick L. Slee, of 12 Bond St., died Sunday, at South Waterloo Hospital. He was 70. Mr. Slee was born at Petrolia, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Slee and had resided practically all his life in Galt. He was a fireman in Galt, since April, 1927 and was made captain in 1952. He was appointed assistant chief, in 1961. His hobby was fishing. He was a member of Trinity Anglican Church and a member of the 100F Waterloo Lodge and was with the Royal Flying Corps, in the First World War. Mr. Slee was to retire at the end of June. Surviving are his wife, the former Alexandra New, three daughters, Mrs. Jack (Dorothy) Stairs, Galt, Mrs. Lloyd (Kathlyn) Levy and Mrs. Gordon (Caroline) Hartley, both of London, Ont.; three brothers, William and George, both of Niagara Falls, and Jack of Galt; two sisters, Mrs. T. W. (Annie) Rowland and Mrs. N. W. (Mary) Coles, both of Toronto; eight grandchildren. The body is at Little's Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted at Trinity Anglican Church, on Wednesday, at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Trinity Anglican cemetery. Kitchener-Waterloo Record 24 Jun 1968 pg 29
