  George T. Wilford George Thomas Wilford, 88, of 831/2 Dickson St., died Friday, at South Waterloo Hospital, after a brief illness. Born in Galt, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George L. Wilford. He lived here all his life. Mr. Wilford was a black-smith. He was an employee of the former axe factory, on Water street north and later worked with the Peter Hay Knife Company and Galt Knife Company. He was an Anglican. In his youth, Mr. Wilford road a bicycle in race competitions. Surviving are his wife, the former Christine Morton; a daughter, Mrs. Reginald (Lillian) Wright of Kitchener; a brother, Leonard of Galt, two sisters, Mrs. Frederick (Lillian) Sommers of California, Mrs. Bertha Brodie of Galt and two grandchildren. The body is at Little's Funeral Home, Galt, where the funeral will be conducted Monday, at 3: 30 p.m., by Rev. J. W. Davis. Burial will be in Mount View Cemetery, Galt.
