  • Notes
    • DELMOR EDMUND RUSH \endash Delmore Edmund Rush, 49, Ridgeway, collapsed and died in the International Nickel Company refinery time office shortly after having finished his shift in the plant yesterday afternoon. Mr. Rush was reported as having come out of the plant after four o'clock apparently well and with no complaints. He punched out on the time clock and seated himself on a chair in the time office to wait for a companion driving a car out of the plant parking lot. Employees leaving the plant noticed him suddenly slump over in the chair. They immediately summoned the plant first aid department and Dr. R. L. Smith but their attempts to revive him were unsuccessful. Dr. Smith said the man had been dead when he arrived. Although the post mortem examination being performed this morning was not yet available, he said that death was probably caused by a sudden heart attack. The late Mr. Rush had been employed at the refinery as a store-man for the past 18 years. Born in Galt, he came to Ridgeway some 26 years ago and resided there ever since. Surviving are his wife, Ortha Gertrude; two sons, Allan and Lloyd, Ridgeway; his mother Mrs. Lois Mabel Rush, Galt; three brothers, Howard and Burton of Galt and Marvin of London, and two sisters, Mrs. Olive Boniface of Galt and Mrs. Myrtle Disley of Toronto. The body is resting at the Dell Funeral Home, Ridgeway, until the time of the funeral which will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from Free Methodist Church, Ridgeway with Rev. W. M. Teal officiating. Interment will be in Ridgeway Cemetery.
