    • Gingerich, Lydia, daughter of Simon and Mary (Kipfer) Lehman, was born at New Bremen, N.Y., Mar. 29, 1876; died at the Lewis County General Hospital, Lowville, N.Y., Feb. 4, 1969; aged 92 y. 10 m. 6 d. On Nov. 27, 1902, she was married to Jacob Gingerich, who died Aug. 9, 1942. Surviving are 3 daughters (Vera - Mrs. Eli Erb, Esther - Mrs. Levi Schrag, and Mrs. Irene Moshier), 2 sons (Andrew and Harvey), 23 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and one sister (Mrs. Mary Yousey). She was preceded in death by 2 sons (Simon and Allen). She was a member of the Lowville Conservative Church, where funeral services were held Feb. 6, with Richard Zehr and Elias Zehr officiating.
