    • STROME, Rev. Glen R. - Gone to be with his Lord on September 3, 2015 surrounded by his family at his home at Riverside Glen in Guelph at the age of 86. Loving husband and friend of Mary Strome (née Amy) of Waterloo for 60 years. Dear father of Tim (Cindy) of Cambridge and James (Brenda) of Waterloo. Loving grandfather of Jonathan, Sarah and David Strome. Fondly remembered by his sister Darlene Greulich (Herb) of Cambridge. Predeceased by his parents Emery Strome and Almeta Schwartzentruber and his brother Donald. Rev. Strome was a minister with the Evangelical United Brethren Church and The United Church, serving Crediton, Milverton, Rostock, Hanover and London for many dedicated years. He was actively involved in leadership roles with the Church Presbyteries and North Sauble Community Church. Friends are invited to share their memories of Rev. Strome with his family during visitation at the ERB & GOOD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME , 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday September 8, from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate his faith and life will be held on Wednesday September 9, 2015 at Calvary United Church, 91 Gruhn Street, Kitchener at 1 p.m. Rev. Lynne Bandy and Rev. John Lougheed officiating. Interment to follow at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. Reception to be held in the church hall. Condolences for the family and donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario may be arranged through the funeral home at www.erbgood.com
