WELLESLEY - Mrs. John Lotz, 57, of Wellesley, died Friday at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener.
She was born in Germany, Oct 26, 1898. She came to Canada as a child. Mrs. Lotz was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Giilck. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
Surviving are her husband, six sons, John, Duncan, Walter and Herbert, all of Wellesley; William, Kingwood; Clayton, Kitchener; three daughters, Mrs. Henry (Frances) Kavelman, New Hamburg; Mrs. Walter (Margaret) Kneisel, Kingwood; Miss Olivia, Wellesley; five brothers, John and Henry, Penticton, B.C.; Nicholas, Orlando Fla; Asmus, New Hamburg; Edward, Bridgeport; five sisters, Mrs. Anna Horsnel, Los Angeles; Mrs. Bertha Armstrong, Chicago; Mrs. Orvel Hoffer, Kitchener; Mrs. Harold Fatum, Kitchener; Mrs. Ella Johnston, Orlando, and 10 grandchildren. One son, Lloyd, was killed in action in 1944, in Holland.
A private funeral service will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. at the Futher Funeral Home, Wellesley, followed by memorial service at 2:30 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery. Rev. D.H. Stewart will officiate.
