    • Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 15, 2005 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Philip Burdett, 81 years of age, beloved husband of the late Dora (nee Durnford), dear father of Lorraine (Richard) Lobb of Sydenham, Donna Durnford of Wiarton and Susan (Rick) Martsch of Roseville. Dear grandfather of Dan (Michele) Heaney, Mark Heaney, Anette Sortberg, Heather Pelow, Bruce (Kyunghwa) Gehiere, Alisa (Werner) Kuemmling, Debbie (John) Peluch, and Kelly (John) DeBeyer; great-grandfather of Beth, Will, Joe, Staci, Nicholas, Lucas, Christopher, Matthew, and Ashley. Dear brother of Dolores Young, and Leona Joyce Roberts, both of Victoria, B.C.
      Mr. Burdett was a member of Saint Luke's United Church many years ago, and then more recently. He was also a lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge. Phil was retired after many years of service with Prudential Insurance Company of America.

      The family will receive friends at the Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Boulevard, Cambridge, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday. The funeral service will be held at Saint Luke's Place auditorium, 1624 Franklin Boulevard on Saturday morning at 11 a.m. with interment to follow at New Hope Cemetery. Those who wish may make a memorial donation to Saint Luke's Place Foundation.
