Notes |
- Beatrice was born in North Easthope on May 8, 1923. She was the eldest of two brothers and three sisters. She grew up at
R.R.#2 Alma (Creekbank) on a lovely farm. Beatrice went to school at the age of six and enjoyed school. In June 1946, she married Verluss Witzel and moved to Shingletown to the Witzel homestead. She raised two daughters, Bonnie and Cheryl. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, quilting, cooking and reading recipe books. She had many friends and enjoyed going out. Verluss passed away on September 12, 1981. The farm was her pride and joy. We will miss the special times we shared with her and she will always be missed by her family and friends.
