  Kraehling, Katherine May - Passed away, peacefully, at St. Mary's General Hospital, on Wednesday, February 21, 2001, age 89 years. Mrs. Kraehling was a resident of RR 1, St. Agatha, Ont. Beloved wife of the late Elmore Kraehling, who predeceased her on October 14, 1989. Loving and dear mother of Marilyn of St. Agatha, Sheila and her husband Doug Gowing of RR 1, Monkton and Robert Kraehling and his wife Linda of St. Agatha; dear grandmother of Sherry Beverly and her husband Fred, Troy, Todd and Charlene Gowing, Janet Kraehling and her fiancé Mike, Jason Kraehling and his wife Rachael, Laura Boronka and her husband Johnny and Amy Kraehling; great-grandmother of Elizabeth and Daniel. Katherine is survived by a sister, Marjorie Hartlieb of Belgrave and a sister-in-law, Margaret Heidlinger of Kitchener. Predeceased by her parents, William and Mary (nee Fiddler) Heidlinger; a sister, Elizabeth McDermott and two brothers, Albert and Victor. Katherine was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, St. Agatha and past organist for 58 years as well as a charter member of the ELW. She also enjoyed playing cards, knitting and crocheting. Katherine's family will receive friends and relatives at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo today (Friday) from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service from Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Philipsburg on Saturday, February 24, 2001 at 2 pm, with Rev. Donald Stewart officiating.
