  BENDER, Milton Passed away peacefully, on the farm he had called home for most of his life, on Monday, July 25, 2011, Mr. Milton Henry Bender of Gowanstown, in his 90th year. Beloved husband of the late Lavina (Zehr) Bender. Dear father of Harry and Isabel Bender of Ottawa, Ron and Diane Bender of Gowanstown, and Lorne and Cathy Bender of Oakville. Loving grandfather of Scott and Rilla Bender, and Mark and Sylvie Bender, all of Ottawa, Shawn and Delena Bender of Elmira, Cheryl Bender of Thorndale, Melissa Bender of Guelph, and Christina, Timothy, and Matthew Bender, all of Oakville. Loved great-grandfather of Travis, Kyle, Robin, and Todd. Brother-in-law of Ridia Bender of St. Jacobs. Milton was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Salome (Schinbein) Bender, his sister Clara Walter, and by his brother Lincoln Bender. Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home , Listowel, on Wednesday from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Zion United Church, Wallace Township, on Thursday, July 28th at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Zion United Cemetery, Wallace Township.
