- ALBRECHT, Samuel Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton. Sam resided in Millbank and was born 80 years ago in Wellesley Township. He was the son of the late Henry Z. and Ethel (Wallace) Albrecht. Beloved husband of Ruth (Roes) Albrecht whom he married May 27, 1954. Loving father of Richard and Donna Albrecht of Beisecker, Alberta, Ken Albrecht of Millbank, Don Albrecht, Steve and Brenda Albrecht all of New Hamburg, Darlene and Dan Ramer of Millbank. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Amanda (Justin), Natasha, Stephanie, Nathan (Amanda), Brad (Christina), Jason (Stephanie), Zach and great-grandchildren Brandon and Kendra. Also remembered by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Joe Kipfer of Brunner, Laurene and Arthur Gerber, Melvin and Marietta Roes all of Gadshill, Erma and Stanley Gerber of Brunner and a number of nieces and nephews. Sam was predeceased by two sons Ronald and Bruce in infancy, sister Nancy Kipfer, brothers Elmer Albrecht and two in infancy and sister-in-law Mary Roes. Sam was a member of Riverdale Mennonite Church, Millbank. Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , 7 Spencer Street, Milverton tonight (Monday) from 7-9 p.m. and again on Tuesday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Riverdale Mennonite Church, Millbank where Pastor Jim Brown will officiate. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christian Aid Ministries or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
