- DEATH OF AN ESTEEMED CITIZEN.
The sudden and unexpected demise ff one of our residents on Sunday morning, cast a gloom upon the village. Mr. J. G. Hunsberger rose as usual, kindled a fire in his office and sat upon a chair beside the stove. About 8 o'clock Mrs. Hunsberger heard a startling noise and running out found her husband lying face downwards, upon the floor before the fire. He appeared conscious but was speechless and never after was he able to utter a syllable. Assistance was at once procured and the helpless form placed upon a lounge where he expired about two hours later. Dr. Miller arrived shortly after pronouncing the cause heart disease. The deceased, commonly known as Doctor Hunsberger, lived nearly 30 years a resident of Dandee, and during a portion of that time enjoved a fairly extensive practice in the treatment of domestic animals. He leaves a widow and a family of five daughters all married except the youngest, Lottie, who was living with her parents. Two are in Manitoba, one is in Hespeler, and one in Preston. The burial takes place on Wednesday afternoon.
