    • GERBER, Madeline Passed away peacefully at her residence, R.R. # 1 Newton, on Thursday, April 25, 2013. Madeline and her husband, the late Roy D. Gerber, farmed for many years at R.R. # 1 Millbank. She was born 84 years ago in Wilmot Township and was the daughter of the late John W. and Mary (Gerber) Jantzi. Beloved wife of the late Roy D. Gerber who predeceased her November 4, 2000. Loving mother of Floyd and wife Irene Gerber of Millbank, Kenneth and wife Naomi Gerber of Lowville, New York, Delmar and wife Miriam Gerber of R.R. # 1 Linwood, Maryann and husband Fred Sohm of R.R. # 1 Newton. Sadly missed by her 15 grandchildren and 32 great-grand-children. Also remembered by sisters, brothers, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Katie and husband Eldon Swartzentruber of Virginia, Alma and husband Jacob Zehr of Millbank, Edna Jantzi, Delmer and wife Eleanor Jantzi, Mary Zehr all of Wellesley, Murray and Hazel Gerber of R.R. # 1 Millbank. Madeline was predeceased by her daughter-in-law Mary Jane Gerber, sister Esther and husband John Zehr, brothers David and wife Annie Jantzi, Moses (in infancy) and brothers-in-law Ralph Gerber and Raymond Jantzi. Madeline was a member of Milverton Conservative Mennonite Church, Milverton. Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 7 Spencer Street, Milverton on Friday from 6-9 p.m. and Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. On Sunday, April 28, 2013, transfer will be made to Brookside Conservative Mennonite Church, Carthage, for the funeral service at 1:30 p.m. Milverton Conservative Mennonite Church ministry officiating. Interment in Bethel Conservative Mennonite Cemetery, Millbank. In lieu of flowers, donations to Christian Aid Ministries or Guatemala Missions would be appreciated by the family.
