- MCGREGOR, JOHN
On Sunday morning, March 13, 1921. Mr. McGregor had been ill for the past six months, three of which he spent in bed. He had been employed as fireman with the R. Forbes Co. , since returning from the west some fifteen months ago. He leaves one son, Walter; brothers and sisters, Robert of Grand Rapids; James of McGregor, Manitoba; Alex of Puslinch; Mrs. M. Wildfong of Craig, SK; Mrs. W. Linton of Galt; Mrs. J. Daley of Orillia; and Miss Elizabeth at home. The funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon, Rev. J. B. Dengis conducting the service, which was largely attended by a wide circle of friends.
-Information from the death certificate: Born in Beverly on January 20, 1864, son of Alexander McGregor and Dorothy Hogg. Occupation - fireman at the woollen mill. Died at age 57 years, 1 month and 21 days.
