Hiram Eby
The death occurred at his home in Kitchener on Saturday, of Hiram Eby, at the age of 82 years. The deceased was born at St. Jacobs, on October 25, 1868, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. David Eby. He was a member of the Bethany United Missionary Church in Kitchener.
Besides his wife, the former Ida Snider, he leaves two sons, Charles Newman, Guelph, and Harold Eby, Kitchener; two daughters, Miss Marion Newman, Kitchener, and Mrs. Douglas (Myrtle) Truelove, Hamilton, and three brothers, Daniel, Petersburg; Aaron, Baden, and Enoch, Galt. The late David Eby of New Hamburg was a brother of the deceased.
Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Gideon Bachert and Miss Barbara Eby, both of Kitchener, and one grandson.
The funeral took place from the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home in Kitchener on Tuesday afternoon with interment in Mount Hope Cemetery. Rev. Arthur Walsh conducted the services.
