  It is with sadness, but gratitude for her life, that we announce the passing of Helen Margaret Scott (Howell) on Tuesday, August 30 in her 95th year. Predeceased by her cherished husband Archie (2009), she will be greatly missed by her loving children Paul, Sandra Ridsdale (John), Susan Sinanan, and her sister Isabel Chittock (Bud). She will also be missed by her grandchildren Kim Rogan, Lesa Bailey, John Ridsdale, and Samantha and Lindsay Sinanan, and her great-grandchildren Erinn Burbridge, Erica Bailey, Daylan and Avery Rogan. Helen was a lifelong resident of Hespeler and an active member of St. Andrew's Hespeler Presbyterian Church. She was the executive secretary to the administrative forester at the Department of Lands and Forests, from which she retired at age 65. Visitation for Helen will be held at the Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Boulevard, Cambridge on Thursday, September 1st from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A celebration of Helen's life will be held at St. Andrew's (H) Presbyterian Church, 73 Queen Street, East on Friday, September 2nd at 11 am with interment following at New Hope Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the retirement staff and maintenance crew at Saint Luke's Place, along with many others, for their compassionate care of our mother over the past few years. Donations in Helen's memory may be made to St. Andrew's (H) Presbyterian Church or to Saint Luke's Place.
