- ABERHARDT, Betty Elaine (Block) October 1, 1927 - December 4, 2013 Passed away peacefully at her residence, Beechwood Manor, Waterloo, Ontario on Wednesday, December 4, 2013. Survived by her devoted and loving best friend Arnold Meyers. Beloved mother of Patricia (Allen Bradshaw) Eade, Regina, SK; John (Evadnie) Aberhardt, Burlington, ON and Toni (Barry) Robinson, Naperville, IL. Loving grandmother of Andrea Aberhardt, Burlington, IL; Kevin (Colleen Ennett), White Plains, NY and Heather (Charl Stenger) Eade, Dubai, UAE; Erin (Steve Swink), Tempe, AZ; Graham, Aurora, IL; Meghan, Calgary, AB and Alexander Robinson, Naperville, IL. Great-grandmother to Lara and Danica Eade; Naomi and Johanna Vaillaincourt. Survived by sisters Mary Belle (Donald) Poll and Sharon-Lee Wideman. Also survived and missed by the Meyers Family Carol and John Unruh, Trevor, Rob (Sarah) and Trevor's children Ainslie and Nathan; Julie and Karl Stobbe, Stephanie, Laura and Adam (Taylor) of Beamsville, ON and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, husband Anthony (Tony) Aberhardt, sisters: Dorothy Sape, Lillian Jantzi, Adele Deckert, Norene Steinman, Muriel Martin, brothers: Delford, Dalton and infant Arlan Block. A Celebration of Betty's Life will be held at First Mennonite Church, Kitchener on Saturday, December 7th at 11:00 a.m. The family welcomes visitors to share stories at the church an hour before the service begins. The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at Beechwood Manor and Drs. King, Gregor and Keleher and the CCAC team for their loving care and attention.
