Notes |
- Edward (Monk) passed away suddenly at his home in his 58th year. Ed has spent his whole life in the Petersburg - New Dundee area and was currently residing on a hobby farm at Punky Doodle's Corners, where he enjoyed family and friends, and his many pets and farm animals. He loved having fun and was an avid baseball and hockey fan (especially the Toronto Maple Leafs). Ed will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his brother, Fred, for whom he worked side by side at Fred Becker Farms for the past 30 years, also by Ryan Becker as well as other family members and co-workers. He will be remembered as a hard worker with a relaxed demeanour who always brought smiles to them as they worked. Lovingly remembered by his mother, Caroline Becker (Dietrich). Ed was predeceased by his father, Irvin John Becker, Sr.; his brother-in-law, Dave Podann Sr.; his infant brother, Irvin Jr., and infant nephew, Robert Podann.
