  JAMES P. MONAGHAN A former New Hamburg businessman, James P. Monaghan, 61 Seyler street, New Hamburg, died Tuesday at St. Mary's Hospital Kitchener following a short Illness. He was born at New Hamburg, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Monaghan and operated a garage and car agency in New Hamburg before his retirement In 1957. He was a member of Holy Family RC Church and the League of the Sacred Heart. Surviving in addition to his wife, the former Ella Malloy, are three sisters, Sister Pauline of Fort St. James, B.C., Mrs. J.M. (Laura) Hanlon of Ingersoll and Mrs. Arthur (Marie) Kearns of Park Hill. Mr. Monaghan was predeceased by three brothers. The body is at the Bruce J. Ormand Funeral Home where prayers will be offered Thursday evening at 8 p.m. Requiem high mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church Friday at 10 am. Rev. Louis Batte will officiate and burial will follow In Holy Family Cemetery.
