- O'HARA, Wynefred - Born in Montreal, Quebec passed away peacefully, at St. Lukes Place, Cambridge on Wednesday, December 14, 2005, in her 92nd year.
Beloved wife of the late Edmund O'Hara. Survived by her children Richard and his wife Barbara of London, Pat Roberts and her husband Ron of Elliott Lake, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents George and Hanna Laight (nee Horsley), her brothers George, William and Doug and her sisters Emma Coffin, Kathleen Harris and Ivy Taylor. Wynn was a lifelong member of the Salvation Army with 39 of those years at the Cambridge Citadel. She was a active volunteer for the Salvation Army in many women's groups and community service. Wynn served overseas during the Second World War as a member of the C.W.A.C.
Friends will be received at Coutts Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 96 St. Andrews's St., Cambridge (621-1650) www.couttsfuneralhome.com today (Thursday) from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at the Cambridge Salvation Army Citadel on Friday, December 16, 2005 at 11 a.m. Interment New Hope Cemetery, Cambridge.
In memory of Wynn donations may be made to the Cambridge Salvation Army Citadel Building Fund.
