      Walter Taylor, father of Mrs. Annie Marie Gerger of Wellesley, died Sunday, Jan. 19 in St. Mary's Hospital Kitchener at the age of 66. He had resided at 756 King St., Preston.

      Mr. Taylor was born in England and had lived in Preston for 23 years, prior to that he lived in Hespeler. He was employed a number of years at the Sulphur Springs Hotel. He was a member of the Salvation Army.

      Surviving besides Mrs Gerger are his wife, the former Elsie Barker; one son, Ernest of Galt; five other daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Violet) Radke of Oakville, Mrs. Roger (Doreen) Thompson of Toronto, Mrs. Donald (Shirley) Lethbridge of Galt, Mrs. Donald (Doris) Lalond of Alberta and Mrs. Mary Joy Gerger of Kitchener; one sister, Mrs. Rhys (Lilly) Fowler of Fort Erie and 22 grandchildren.

      Funeral and committal services were held at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home last Wednesday.

      Interment was in Preston Park Lawn cemetery.
