  Doris Feil 12 September , 1922 \endash 17 February , 2015 Feil, Doris Jean It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce her passing on February 17, 2015 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Russel Feil; treasured mother of Nelson (Julie), and Larry; grandmother of Matthew, David and Lisa; daughter of the late George Jacobs and Ida Lingelbach and sister of the late Mary and Anna and survived by Harry and Ross. Doris was a proud mother and grandmother, wonderful neighbor and friend to many. Doris was a bit of a tom boy in her youth who loved the outdoors and gardening, leading her to serve as a Girl Guide in her youth and as a leader in Girl Guides for many years. She was a very active member of Zion United Church where she visited many shut- ins, delivering home baking and preserves. Visitation will be at Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, ON N2G 1C7 on Thursday February 19, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Service on Friday February 20, 2015 at 11 am. at Zion United Church, 32 Weber St. W., Kitchener, ON N2H 3Z2. Donations in her memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Interment at St. Jacob's Cemetery to be arranged at a later date.
