    • Charles Katzenmeier

      NEW HAMBURG— Word was received here announcing the death at the General Hospital at Hamilton of Charles Katzenmeier, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Katzenmeier, aged 83 years. Born in Ohio, he came to New Hamburg in 1874. He married Fredericka Schweitzer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Schweitzer, and they farmed in South Easthope for a time. Later they moved to Smithville and for the past 34 years lived in Hamilton. His wife died in 1936. Two sons and five daughters survive. The funeral was held on Monday.
