The neck is tapered in with a rolled lip edge. There is a small hole in the bottom. Provenance The crock was owned and used by Cyrus Eby. Cyrus Eby came to Bruce County in 1880 from Conestoga, Waterloo County.   Cyrus Eby, "the youngest son of Samuel and Susannah Eby, was born August 2nd, 1844. On October 4th, 1864, he was married to Sarah Ann Heise who was born January 6th, 1841. He resides at Chippewa Hill, Ontario, and follows farming. He has a family of seven children" Eby, Ezra E. (1895).
