HAWKINS, Carl Frances-passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Saturday, October 20th, 2007 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Donna Hawkins (nee Lawrence) of Simcoe. Dear father and grandfather of Bonnie Deekon and her husband, the late Phil of Cambridge; Sandy Hawkins of Florida; Rick Hawkins and his wife Meredith of Cambridge, their children Patty Tonioli (Matt), Jerod (Julie), Ella & DK; Mary Allan and her husband Ken of Brampton, her son Allan Hill (Teresa); Stephen Day and his wife Tanya of Courtland, their children Courtney & Cody; Stephanie Astalos-Day and her partner Deb of Cambridge, her children Rosie & Lily. Loving great grandfather of Elyse, Abraham, Adeline, Afton, Meagan & Connor. Carlis also survived by his many nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by his sisters Evelyn, Delores and brothers George, Charlie, Harland and Jesse. Friends are invited to share their memories of Carl with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Tuesday, October 23rd, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Carl's funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Raymond Thompson officiating. Interment of Ashes: Delhi Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations payable to the Woodstock Choralaires or the Alzheimer's Society of Haldimand-Norfolk would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
