      Mrs. Thomas Thomson There Twenty-two Years.


      Mrs. Thomas Thomson , who died at her home, 461 Hamilton street, had resided in Grand Rapids about twenty-eight years, all but six of which were spent in the Sixth ward, where she widely known. Mrs. Thomson was born in Berlin, Ont., in 1857 and came to Grand Rapids In 1883. She had been a member of Scribner Street Baptist church and connected with several departments of the church. She was a member of Bridge Street W. C. T. U. and a charter member of Twilight lodge, Degree of Honor.

      Besides her husband she leaves two children, Charles P.. Thomson, traveling agent for the Grand Trunk railway, and Mrs. Raymond Palmer of this city. Two sisters survive: Mrs. J. Beilstein of New Liskeard. Ont., and Mrs. H. Heyd of Grand Rapids, There are four brothers, W. F. Cornell of Germfask, Mich.; Charles Roach of Petersburg, Ont.; George Roach of New Liskeard, Ont., and Samuel J. Roach of city.

      Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 o'clock at the house and at Scribner Street Baptist church at 2:30.
