- CURRIE, WILLIAM
The funeral of Mr. Currie of Howell, Ml, whose body was brought to Hespeler for interment, took place from the residence of his sister-in-law, Mrs. D. Currie to Hespeler Cemetery on Saturday afternoon, January 8, 1916. He is supposed to have been murdered, while on a visit to his brother, John Currie in Detroit, as he was found in a coal shed, with wounds on his head sufficient to cause death. Before leaving home, he had drawn $150. from the bank but when his body was found his gold watch, ring and all the money except 15 cents were missing.
