      At South Waterloo Memorial Hospital, on Tuesday evening, June 7, 1977, of R. R. #2, Puslinch, formerly of Walker St. in Hespeler, in his 58th year. Husband of Edith Steinburg. Father of Carl of R. R. #2, Puslinch; Sandra (Mrs. Frank Hall) of R. R. #6, Galt; and Beverly (Mrs. Thomas Hogg) of Cambridge. Also survived by eight grandchildren. Predeceased by a sister, Mildred. Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Day. He served as a trustee of the Hespeler Public School Board about twenty years ago. Mr. Day was one of the original members of Barrday, a division of Wheelabrator Corporation of Canada Ltd. He was a member of St. Luke's United Church. Mr. Day was a veteran of the Second World War, when he served with the Signal Corps. Service at the Nelson Funeral Home on Fri., June 10 at 2. Interment New Hope Cemetery.
