  Levi Eby, "was born September 18th, 1842. He is married to Mary Lawson and resides in Inglewood, Cook County, Illinois. He is a local minister in the Methodist Church and has had a family of fifteen children, of whom six are dead. Six boys and three girls are still living." Eby, Ezra E. (1895).
