- George Bauer, 85, of Bridgeport Rd., R.R.2, Waterloo, died Saturday at his home. Mr. Bauer came to Canada from England with his family in 1913. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Waterloo. Surviving is his widow, the former Margaret Rose; three sons, George, Detroit; Charles, Brandon, Manitoba; Frederick, Noranda; four daughters, Mrs. Stanley (Florence) Marsland, Kitchener; Mrs Joseph (Mabell) Pitzinger, Dallas, Texas; Mrs. Rose Kochler, Waterloo; Mrs. John (Doris) Moll, Houston, Texas. Also survived are six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a brother, Frederick, Ridgedield, Washington. Mr. Bauer was predeceased by two sons. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home with burial in Waterloo Mount Hope Cemetery. Rev. A.L. Conrad of St. John's Lutheran Church, Waterloo will officiate. The body is resting at the funeral home.
