    • Former Resident Dies in Los Angeles - Mr. Henry Seck, a former well known resident of New Hamburg, died in Los Angeles, Calif., on Nov. 15th, at the age of 68 years. Word was received by his brother-in-law, Mr. Michael Dietrich, of this town. The deceased had been in ill health for some time, but his death came unexpectedly. The late Mr. Seck was born in Bamberg, Wellesley Township. He came to New Hamburg when a young man and was employed in the Rau brewery for quite a number of years. He moved to Detroit 33 years ago and for the past 19 years resided in Los Angeles. He was a faithful adherent of the RC Church and a member of the Catholic Mutual Benefit Association. He was married to Mary (Dietrich) Rau, widow of the late Joseph Rau, of this town, who survives him. The funeral took place in Los Angeles on November 18th.
