Notes - Sadly we announce the sudden passing of Bonnie at Hamilton General Hospital on October 22, 2015 at the age of 58. A caring and dear soul has left us. Bonnie worked as a Registered Practical Nurse for over 20 years at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, followed by over 10 years at a local addiction centre. In our hearts she will be lovingly remembered by her husband John Heipel, her children Jennifer Heipel and Kimberly (Jordan Barker) Heipel, mother Donna Birtch, brothers Gary (Kathy) Birtch and Mark (Margo) Birtch, sisters Linda Dey and Karen (Bill) Herd, sisters-in-law Lynn Heipel and Susan Peters and father-in-law, Don Wellsman. Adored and beloved grandmother of Melanie, Neveah, and Dahlia, as well as an Aunt to many. Predeceased by her father Arnold Birtch, brothers-in-law Gord Dey and Ross Peters and parents-in-law Marie Heipel-Wellsman and Gordon Heipel. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the ICU team at both Cambridge Memorial Hospital and Hamilton General Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. A Memorial Service for Bonnie will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at St. John's Anglican Church, 567 Queenston Road, Cambridge, Ontario, N3H 3J9. Donations to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road;
