- Philip Mitchler
Philip Mitchler of RR 3, Wellesley, died Tuesday at the Scott Pavilion, K-W Hospital, following a lengthy illness. He was 76.
Born in Malewawnaja, Russia, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Philip Mitchler, he farmed near Bamburg for 46 years, retiring in 1957,
He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Heidelberg.
He was predeceased by his first wife, the former Elizabeth Buffi, Oct. 5, 1959, and is survived by his second wife, the former Sophie Wiese of Waterloo; three sons, Eric of RR 4, Brussels, Arnold of RR 3, Wellesley and Raymond of Waterloo; one brother, Daniel of Winnipeg; three sisters, Mrs. Henry (Mary) Rudolph of Winnipeg, Mrs. Frederick (Emma) Hacker of Brandon, Man., Mrs. Frederick (Martha) Mauthe of Glenella, Man., and six grandchildren.
He was predeceased by two brothers and one sister.
