  THOMAS, Mary Elizabeth (nee Wilhelm) Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on Friday, September 15, 2017 at her residence, Baden. Mary was born 68 years ago in Kitchener and was the daughter of the late Wellington and Mary Wilhelm (Baufeldt). Beloved wife of Craig Thomas with whom she celebrated 50 years of marriage with on August 11. Cherished mother of David (Frances) Thomas, Stephanie (Rod) Galambos, Angelica Thomas and George Thomas. Mary will be dearly missed by her grandchildren; Aimee, Julie, Jordan, Sarah, Sophia, Liam, Craig, Cranson, Nicola, Kate and Cohen as well as by her two great-grandchildren Brooklyn and Elizabeth. Dearly missed by her brother and sisters; Robert Wilhelm, Elaine (Bill) Jones and Beverly Wilhelm-Maskis. Predeceased by her brother Stuart and wife Marlene Wilhelm and sister-in-law Judy Wilhelm. Mary was a perfect grandmother who cherished her relationship with her grandchildren and made it well known they were the center of her life. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing, knitting, and baking for her family and friends. The family of Mary would like to invite you to a time of memorial visitation on Friday, September 22, 2017 from 1 p.m. - 2 p.m. at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg where a memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. Interment at Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Terry Fox Foundation.
