- James Irvine (Irv) Skerritt, age 90, passed away at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, Waterloo Co., Ontario Canada. He is predeceased by his wife Jean Elizabeth (nee Barber, 1977). Beloved father of Mary Ellen Mosher (Randall) of Kitchener and Richard Alan Skerritt (Susan) of Baden. Cherished grandfather of Jennifer Mosher, James Mosher, Melissa Skerritt, Reid Skerritt and Brent Skerritt. Brother of Melinda Moser, Lillian Ferguson, Elda McConnel, Barbara McLean and Audrey Bousfield.
Predeceased by his parents James Richard and Ethel Skerritt (nee Ariss), brothers Harold Skerritt, Leonard Skerritt and George Skerritt and sisters Beatrice Skerritt and Annie Franks.
James was born in Arthur. He was a veteran of World War II. He was one of the original members of St. Andrew's Memorial Anglican Church. James was the superintendent of the Woodside National Historic Park in Kitchener, for over 30 years.
Funeral service held April 21, 2007 at Henry Walser Funeral Home, Kitchener. Interment held at a later date in Woodlawn Cemetery, Guelph.
