    • An Old Colored Lady.

      Mrs. Harriet Davis died at her daughter's, Mrs. Medsker,[OR METZGER] in this city, on last Tuesday, at the advanced age of one hundred and ten years. For the last five or six years she has been very feeble, both in mind and body, and died from old age. She remembered seeing George Washington very well and gave accounts of the early history of the government that convinced her friends that the age she claimed was not far from correct, if not absolutely her exact age. She resided for a number of years in Canada and came from there to our city some ten years ago.
