  Isaiah M.E. Martin, 74, of RR 1, St. Clements, died Aug. 4 at Kitchener-Waterloo Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Christian P. Martin. Surviving are his wife, the former Persida Eby; three sons, Edwin of Kitchener, Christian of RR 1, St. Clements, and Isaiah of RR 1, Bamberg; three daughters, Mrs. Amos (Amanda) Bauman of RR 3, Wallenstein, Mrs. Sydney (Hanna) Bearinger of RR 1, Wallenstein, and Mrs. Aaron (Salome) Martin of RR 3, Wallenstein; two brothers, John of RR 1, St. Clements, and Tobias of RR 4, Elmira; 19 grandchildren. He was predeceased by one daughter, one brother and two sisters. Service was at the home of Christian E. Martin Saturday Aug. 6. A further service was held at the Conestogo Mennonite meeting house.
