  Obituary for Mae Rose Shifflett SHIFFLETT, Mae Rose (nee Colbourne)- Passed away peacefully, at home, on Friday, October 5, 2012. Mae Rose, in her 89th year, was the beloved wife of the late Bill Shifflett (2007). She was the dear mother of Bill (Jane), Mike (Susan), Susan (Siegfried) Baldauf, Anne (Mike Smith), Cheryl (Bill) Vincent, and J.D. (Carol Ann Betz) and the late Patricia and Jean-Luc Rimonteil. Mae Rose is fondly remembered by thirteen grandchildren: Mark, Stephanie (Jeff Kittmer), Geoffrey, Ashley (Donny McBrayne), Corita, Rachel, John, Evan, Averyl, Elsie, Nora, Camille, Antoine, and two great-grandchildren: Megan and Jessica. She is the beloved sister of Marianne, Jean-Marc, Maurice, George and brother-in-law Gerald (Aline). Friends may call to visit with the family at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Mae Rose will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Boniface Church, 1367 Maryhill Rd., Maryhill, Ontario, on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at 10 a.m. Interment, St. Boniface Cemetery, Maryhill.
