  ZINGER, Elizabeth "Betty" (nee Snider) Passed away peacefully at Lanark Heights on Monday, August 28, 2017 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Anthony "Doc" Zinger (2015). Loving mother of Judy (Jim) Lauber, Kathy Wagner, Mike (Josee) Zinger and the late Tom and Patricia Zinger. Proud grandma of Kirk (Karen), Jason (Nikki), Holly (Rick), Jeremy, Tommy, Tyler, and great-grandmother of Matthew, Cameron, Karlie, Braeden and Chase. Predeceased by her three brothers and three sisters. Special thanks to the staff at Lanark Heights for their compassionate care. Betty's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Prayers 3 p.m. Wednesday. Prayers will also be offered at the funeral home on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 9:20 a.m. followed by a procession to St. Boniface Catholic Church, 1354 Maryhill Road, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment St. Boniface Cemetery. Reception to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Grand River Hospital Foundation - Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
